Why LA DATCHA? In the 70m+ class and overall, she won because no other finalist makes more of the world available to her guests. At 77m (Damen, 2020), she is not the largest yacht in the field, but she has the broadest charter horizon: true expedition systems rather than explorer styling alone, helicopter facilities, submersible and dive capability, cold-climate reach, and a strong separation of observation, wellness, social and operational spaces for 12 guests in six suites.
The equipment-to-guest ratio is exceptional, and the charter proposition stays distinctive even against larger yachts.
